I've noticed, looking at my other posts, that I sound kinda silly. Haha, the things that seem oh so important at the time.
I think that I've given up much of my cyber time over the past couple of months. I've taken on a lot this year, like:
• IB Programme (Now I fully understand the struggle of the Junior)
• Cross Country
• Debate Team
• NHS (National Honor Society)
• S4S (Schools 4 Schools)
• Minimal Yearbook work
But with all of this you can see why I'm not really on the Sims anymore, why I'm never online anymore. Plus my Stepmother, Gyn is in the hospital right now, she's 7 1/4 months pregnant, but already having really strong contractions, so we're at the hospital a lot. I don't end up getting home until like 9:00 p.m. when I'm at mi Padres. And mi Madre has a new boyfriend, Joel, so yeah, that's interesting. I dunno, that's about all that's worth mentioning. Toodles!
Yet I can't not have a myspace. I don't know if that makes sense, but I don't wanna quit my myspace.
It's a nice way to talk to my best friend, Huisue who lives in california, and it's a convenient way to talk to the peeps that I don't see daily.
And I do have so much fun playing around with profiles and the like. :D
I forgot to mention that the 17th was Pokenam's Anniversary. It's one year and a few days now since he committed suicide. I'm incredibly sad, and last week I couldn't exactly figure out why. Then I remembered what an important date was coming up.
I also noticed that my nightmares had been getting increasingly worse (not to complain) and so I hadn't really been sleeping. I think I've been running on 2-3 hours a night for the last week and a half. Not so good on my mental state of mind.
So then I've been waking my parents up with screaming a couple nights in the last few weeks, so they thing I should see a therapist. And I suppose I should see one because me trying to solve my own problems hasn't been going so well lately.
And on friday, I had my first appointment with a woman named Mrs. Atwood. She reminds me a lot of my grandmother who is also a therapist. I guess I'm not totally uncomfortable with the idea of going to see a therapist, even Mrs. Atwood (who I'm going to refer to as Atwood) said that therapist's need therapists. For our first session Gyn (my step mom) had to come in and give the basis of why she wants me to have therapy (she feels I'm angry for past events, that it's starting to effect my health in some ways and that although we've been making progress, she feels that I'll always have that resentment unless I see a counselor) and then Atwood promptly kicked her out.
I was assured that she'd never "tattle" on me, unless it was a direct threat to my health or another's. But I won't get into the messy details, but it was refreshing to be able to talk without fear of reprimand.
I guess the diagnosis so far is:
•I'm really mature because I was forced to be as a child
•I have problems "not worrying" about things, I can't let them go and I'm too self reliant to the point that I don't trust adults
•I have issues with abandonment
So yeah, I suppose it was rather productive. But I really want to talk to Pokenam right now, quite urgently.
Okay, so I'm really excited about my newest change... I bleached my hair!!! (in case you couldn't tell by the pictures swamping the hangout, myspace, facebook and flickr)
So anyways, we won't talk about that. I have to say, I think it looks good. I'm especially boastful of the strange stares that I get from people when I go to ordinary places. Other than the people who know me (who all say, "Wow, Kimmy, that's definitely different, but it fits you!") seem to think it's a bit strange, but it's all good cuz I'm all good with it. ahaha

Well, I mainly made this site for my sims, or anything else I feel like putting up until I get the motivation to make my own website. Quite frankly I feel a bit lazy :]
I've been a simmer since I was about... erm... Eleven? Anyways, that's a long time. So yeah, I wasn't really involved in the simming community until a couple of years ago and I'm one of those people who love to play the game, just because. I'm with the Sims 2 Writers Hangout at http://similik.proboards54.com and once again, I could be a high ranking user, but I'm to lazy to play the comments game.
I've written hundreds of stories and about 90% have been garbage binned. The few I have published and allowed to survive live on the exchange as the Tribute to Love, Lilly Laden Waters (spelled miscorrectly on the cover to my dismay) and the late Logan Love. Yeah, I tend to publish and then delete later because they're unsatisfactory to my HIGH, HIGHHIGHHIGH standards. Oh well, as long as I'm happy with them.
What could we do to create a world with less violence?
Personally, if we just get over ourselves and be happy with what we have, we might make the world a better place. If we stop acting like crabs in a bucket, climbing over anyone and anything that gets in our way, things might get better. Too many people are hurt by extreme amount of ambition, now, wanting to make things better is nice, but not when you're all to ready to sacrifice what you already have.
